Introduction

Retired FBI Special Agent with over 20 years of Investigative experience, most recently serving for over a decade as a Special Agent with the Cellular Analysis Survey Team (CAST).

In my role as an FBI CAST National Asset, I have worked thousands of cases involving the analysis of mobile device location information to locate victims and subjects of kidnappings, homicides, robberies, other violent crimes, and national security matters. I have provided expert witness testimony in over 200 Criminal cases, with a focus on mobile device records, user content, and device location.

I helped design and create the curriculum the FBI uses to teach local, state, and federal law enforcement partners the FBI’s methodology for mobile device location information to find the missing, the lost, and the hiding.  Further, I have taught FBI expert witness testimony for over a decade and have been part of every CAST asset’s expert certification process since 2015.

My career as an FBI Special Agent fostered my problem-solving abilities. I am accustomed to complex cases and the significant responsibility of finding solutions under pressure. My experiences in conducting thorough investigations, analyzing extensive data sets, and collaborating with diverse teams have honed my critical thinking skills and provided me with a keen eye for detail.

My experience as a lead instructor for FBI CAST has afforded me the ability to convey information effectively, both orally and in writing, and to adapt my communication style to suit different audiences. I pride myself on my ability to build rapport, establish trust, and maintain open lines of communication, even in the most challenging circumstances.
